Monday Motivation-Vision Boards

Okay, so I am extra! You don’t have to use a science board like a did. Any standard poster board like the ones at Dollar Tree will do just fine. If you are feeling a little extra (like me), pick up some glitter pens, paint, and other goodies in the arts&crafts aisle. Hey, it’s your vision board so go hog wild and do whatever you want to do with it.

A Vision board is basically a collage that represents your future goals and aspirations. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun a vision board party can be. To be able to see your goals in a creative format …. it motivates you in ways that a handwritten list can’t. It reminds you in a very colorful/bright way, what it is your working towards and why. Various images and words clipped from magazines pasted onto a board comes to life with each glance, Especially when your energy tank is running on E.

Here’s what you will need
Poster board
Glue sticks
Old magazines/printed images/textbooks (anything with pictures that you don’t mind cutting)
Optional – paint, glitter, stickers, etc.

1. Flip through the magazines and choose images or words/phrases that stand out to you.
2. Cut them out.
3. Arrange them on your poster board
4. Once you have them arranged how you like, glue them down
Optional- add some pizzazz with arts & crafts supplies you have at home or recently purchased.

Vision boards are not only inspirational but a great activity to do with the whole family. Call over some girlfriends, throw in a bottle of wine and make it a girls night in. You could even make this a date night activity, just you and your boo. The possibilities are endless. Whatever you decide, let your creativity flow and have fun.
